It is located on the western edge of Olefirshchyna village, Velyki Budyshcha village council, Zinkiv district, Poltava region.
It was discovered by H.T. Kovpanenko (1953). It was surveyed by P.Ya. Havrysh (1986), I.M. Kulatova, O.B. Suprunenko (1988), O.B. Suprunenko, V.V. Sherstiuk (2004), V.V. Sherstiuk (2014). Small excavations were carried out by H.T. Kovpanenko (64 sq.m) in 1953.
The settlement is located on the plateau of the right bank of the Vorskla River, adjacented by a synchronous burial mound (its eastern section) on the north and northwest.
It is located on the plain part of the right bank. The eastern frontier region of township is located on garden plots of the western edge of the village.
There are 8 smouldering ruins located in a compact cluster. The height of individual smouldering ruin is up to 0.50-0.60 m, they have a fairly typical rounded or oval outlines. Their dimensions vary from 18×26 m to 33×51 m. The larger smouldering ruins tend to the northern part of the village.
